There is one thing in the world I would give away in a heartbeat, and that is my shyness. It prevents me from being the person I want to be. Do you ever get the feeling that the world is moving around you but you are just standing there alone having lost your way? I feel like a chess piece unable to move in fear of a checkmate. I want to take that step but the fears I hold prevent me.

I’ve also come to the conclusion kindness doesn’t get you anywhere in life.

What is it with fandom and their cliques?

Thanks, I know it's just so frustrating having this small thing blocking you from doing what you want. Some say it's silly and to move on but for those of us who are shy it's like having to jump over a river ie not easy and you may drown. I start my job tomorrow, i'm terrified but I do hope like you it gives me a good start to look people in the face and just talk to them. or hit them with a DVD ^_^

I did decide after that to be kind to those who are kind to me such as yourself. Who neads people if their going to be massive idiots. I can never understand how people can be like that but hey it's their problem.
