Kate Bush is wonderful inspiration ♥  Charles has such a hard face to draw, originally almost scrapped this as I thought it was so awkward and I had messed it up facially, not enough emotion there. Though I need to draw a follow up to this of forgiveness and reconciliations, that will hold more emotions. Had to put their radar dish in there XD

I really want to change my style....

And everything about these is just gorgeous! I love the leaves and season and how all the similarities show all the changes, how Charles gives Erik the same fond look but Erik's expression is so different, and of course the metal sculpture!

I think I was in one of my moods where I wished I was a bit more cartoony, feel a bit bad for saying it now.

Thank you ever so much ♥ I love playing with mood that way, the sunset in the first represents a beautiful moment that we all know will end soon, the second despite being sad, shows a sunrise poking through, with hope XD Without the helmet he's willing to give Charles a sense of regret after so long, it's why Charles greets him fondly.
