Kate Bush is wonderful inspiration ♥  Charles has such a hard face to draw, originally almost scrapped this as I thought it was so awkward and I had messed it up facially, not enough emotion there. Though I need to draw a follow up to this of forgiveness and reconciliations, that will hold more emotions. Had to put their radar dish in there XD

I really want to change my style....

Maybe you should check out some other artists' portfolios for a while and look at the way they work to get ideas. I don't know if you follow many webcomics, but Tracy has a FANTASTIC tutorial on expressions here (http://lackadaisy.foxprints.com/exhibit.php?exhibitid=333)

I've been looking at a few comics artists I admire like Adam Hughes. I realised looking that I draw my emotions too subtle, as I try to be too realistic. That tutorial is fantastic though. It's one reason I wish to change my style, because simplifying things and being more cartoony makes expressions easier to form.

I hate you for making me look at these because YOU KNOW MY FEELINGS ABOUT ERIK.

But the first one especially is something quite special, I think. I can just taste the sunset and that cold autumn air. I love the little bird as well, and their expressions.

I can feel Kate Bush in these pictures, definitely.

I just adore your clothing. I love the texture, and they way the fabric lays. I love the coloring as well. You alway have such rich drawings. They look...touchable.
Also well done on the likeness for each guy. They are really difficult IMO.

Thank you, I really wanted the weather to reflect the mood of each monet. Like the first is a sunset, as Erik is learning control, and we all know what will happen in a few days time.
