Torchwood ;_;
Jul. 10th, 2009 11:40 pmGod Torchwood: children of earth was BRUTAL!! And also really good, and thorougly enjoyable in a pull your own heart out and stomp on it kind of way. The whole governmental talk about how to deal with the 456’s demands was creepy in how they treated the kids as just numbers not living humans. And the fact they chose people of low working class (I’m working class myself) was terrifying. Not to mention the whole escalation after that was depressing and Jack always has to lose things in the most horrible manner. I mean IANTO….no, I was not expecting THAT *sobs* And his final choice to save the children was gut wrenching. I just wonder if they'll be a 4th series?
I feel kinda numb after that ending though...
Other than having my heart ripped out of my chest watching that I’m feeling a little sad at the fact I seem to be losing some of my old friends because I’m into another fandom. I guess I’ll get used to some people hardly talking to me but it does make me miserable, I’m still the same old me, I haven't changed D:

on 2009-07-11 09:48 am (UTC)I've also lost some friends myself because they moved on to different places, it can't be helped; people tend to gather together due to sharing the same interests. True friendships are difficult to obtain, and I firmly believe that there is only one or two true friendships in everyone's lives. The rest are a bunch of people who pass by; some of them leave a mark, some of them disappear without one, but only a few of them will stay.

on 2009-07-11 12:46 pm (UTC)I still like DN and M/N though and every thing I liked in the past even if I am all distracted with ST right now so it's not like i've changed my interests too much, I just have a new extra one :)
I'm too much of a woobie ^_^

on 2009-07-12 01:18 pm (UTC)I cried so much as I thought nothing could get any worst than loosing Ianto (my poor heartbroke) then they made Jack do that to his daughter and that was it, the floodgates opened.
I need a Ianto icon ;_;

on 2009-07-12 05:46 pm (UTC)Man, I really should get off my ass and watch Torchwood. It's the stuff of legend. XD But I have SO MUCH TO WATCH.
I know what switching in and out of fandoms is like, I think everyone does. It's okay. But don't fall out of love with us! :D

on 2009-07-13 11:53 am (UTC)Oh man you should, I know it's a whole lot to watch but it's a cool series, Welsh accents FTW :) I have seasons 1-4 of Battle Star Galactica to watch so I know how that feels *dies*
I still like DN but I've had such a bad time in fandom last year I'm happy to have found something that takes my mind of things and I can have fun again, but I think it's pushing people away from me even if I still do LOVE DN ;( I guess I'm more scared of you guys falling out of love with me because I've noticed it, I know it happens but I can't say I'll ever get used to it ;(
*goes to read it*
