“Come on Jim, I just happen to know where we can find a good stash of Romulan Ale to smooth those bumps out” I think I have a thing for being mean to poor Jim but then again so did the movie and the telly series XD
You know you always get one of those pictures that refuses to do what you want with it well this was it. Originally supposed to be a little more than a ’friendship’ picture if you know what I mean *nudgenudge* But Bones wouldn’t do what I wanted him to do and wanted to look after Jim boy instead. Oh well there’s always next time :D Hopefully one day I’ll not be so sketchy.

on 2009-06-25 02:20 pm (UTC)After reading the other comments, I agree. I enjoy beating up, literally and figuratively, on my characters as well, but now feel totally justified in doing so after the movie. I can do so with gleeful abandon ().
This is lovely. I love the play of light and shadow and the detail you have with the bandages (and the sheer number of them). I do wonder how Jim escaped a hypospray :)

on 2009-06-25 02:35 pm (UTC)I feel so much better to know I'm not alone in that because I was thinking 'I'm so mean' It's kinda like playing with your dolls when you were a kid, you'd get them all bashed up so you can nurse them better LOL (he did, he so did, when he was lying on the table my heart stopped <3)
And thanks so much for your kind comments <3 I'm so ecstatic you like the shadows as it's the first time i've done that. (I think maybe Bones is just playing too much of a mother hen and going a bit over board with the bandages so Jim boy will get a clear message he won't put up with that shit) McCoy has that spray hidden behind his back, just in case :D
