Just found out today that for my mates hen do before her wedding we're not Roller disco-ing but going to the Edinburgh festival instead 0_0 It's awesome because it's just an amazing festival what with comedy nights, acts, shows and performers but it's expensive. I really do hope I can scrape some pennies together and go because you know you can't not miss your best friends hen night.
Also another friend is 30 in May so she's arranging a fancy dress part and I'm so stuck on what to dress as. It's hard to know what when you’re a bit pushed for cash X_X WHY!!WHHHYYYY DOES ALL FUN THINGS HAVE TO COST MONEY??
I think I'm drifting in fandom which is why I'm not around much. I have so many things I like Comics, Films, TV that they keep pulling me in all sorts of directions and I've been spending a lot of time offline reading, drawing and watching things. But I feel happy for once, I don't have people I hardly know judging me this way nor anons to contend with. I miss you guys so much though so I hope this feeling settles and I don't drift off too far.

on 2009-04-21 12:24 pm (UTC)Sadly no, I'm the only one of my friends who is very small and thin ;_; Apart from Yen who's shorter but she's a UK size 12 and I'm a 8, lucky woman having hips *sniffs* I'm going to raid my wardrobe and see what I can do.

on 2009-04-21 04:57 am (UTC)I think we all have periods of drifting; I'm kind of in one myself at the moment. It's not a bad thing and especially not if you're happy!

Aye it's not, and I don't feel so alone now ^^ For me it means I can enjoy things without the wank that sometimes comes along and that keeps me happy as last year it was hellish. Kinda cool drifting because you find all sorts of cool things that you may have missed, I like that XD
