Thank you so much Yuna!!♥ Her outfit is inspired by a really good Misa cosplayer so I owe it to them :) Oh what does a black rose symbolize? I can never really remember what colour means what. Red is love of course ^^

For all I know, black roses often symbolize death and farewell and loss. However, sometimes they mean 'slavish devotion' as well.

Wow that's really interesting, seems to suit Misa to a fault. It really gives more meaning to the costume design. It surprised me to know that Obata used religious icons as just design motifs and thought nothing more about them because they went so well with the story of death and faith. I usually draw things with more thought.

I know! Symbolism in Death Note worked out very well, even though Obata didn’t put much thought in it. I always have fun choosing symbols to use in my stories.

It's amazing how much both creators mixed in without thinking or at least saying they didn't, I sometimes think otherwise *is suspicious* And I noticed you do that, and I'll forever love your L and Zeda's Mello in Nihil for making jokes about the religious symbolism :D Jesus L is WIN!

I also doubt that the symbolism was not on purpose. It seemed as if Obata just wanted to boast, I don’t know. Anyway, thank you! At first I was afraid someone would feel uncomfortable or offended, but oh well.

PS. But I’m laaaazyyyy ;___; I may do it tomorrow. Or I’ll try, at least.
