Why is Shadow of the Colossus such a beautiful game? And why do I almost cry every time I play it and I have to stab a Colossus to death ;_; I guess knowing the ending makes it worst. Argo you may be 3D polygons and kinetics but you’re my fave horsey ever. This stunning picture click me makes me want to draw some SotC fanart. I really, really HAVE to buy a tablet so I can do pictures like that.

I also posted a new picture to my Deviant Art page, Pirate. I'm begining to hate my cartoony art when I compare it to things like the SotC pic above D:

 I feel left out and alone lately -_-


EDIT: Scrap the wanting to buy a graphics tablet. It's almost £200 for even the tiny A6 Wacom ones, OMFG!!! I'll have to wait till I rob a bank or something ;_;

I know what you mean about wanting to change styles, sometimes I look at art and wish I'd gone with traditional painting, or recently western comic book art because some of it looks so visually stunning its unreal. But then I look at the fact that I still have a long way to go with getting my manga style looking how I want it and the idea of trying to pick up another technique makes me cringe back in fear.

I know what you mean, I'd love a Wacom so I could actually start to colour digitally but the price, ahhh! And the cheap ones don't measure up, I can't remember what make it was but my parents but me one for £50 and we got it replaced something like three times in the space of a few months before giving up.

I keep looking at the art on DA and god some of it is amazing. I know I'll never have that kind of skill but its nice to dream. I used to draw western style a few years ago but I've drawn japanese style for so long it always creeps back. Your right though it's best to be happy with what you have first before trying something that's so different.

That's the reason I wanted a Wacom as the reviews for the cheaper ones say they break easily and that would be just wasted money, that I don't have D: I just can't believe they're that much for what is just a ponced up mouse XD I can get a new computer for that price *sobs*

I think its possible to be able to do multiple art styles, people do it and do it well, but... I don't know. I can't right now XD; And the manga does creep I when I try other things, you're right.

Wanda and the Colossus broke my heart from the very first moments during the game intro. Wanda is one the most noble and awesome heros I've ever seen, and everytime he killed a Colossus, I had the feeling that he was destroying himself (T_T)
It's also amazing how he looks tired and more destroyed as the game goes on, dirty and with his clothes a bit ripped.

It's amazing how much he sacrifices to bring his true love back without a care for the consequences. Did you see the ending because that was heartbreaking? And I'm sure it connects to the game ICO.

I will. I just felt I didn't belong because I'm not in Nihil at the moment, but I have no clue how to invite myself to it though.

Oh you should, it's amazing. You only fight the big bosses but they're stunning.
