I'm buying some art stuff because I want to make my drawings a bit more professional so no cheap paper and pens for me. I already have some cool Deleter inking pens but comic/Doujinshi artists which of these Deleter papers is the best to by A4 or B4 http://www.dinkybox.co.uk/acatalog/Deleter_Manga_Artist_Supplies.html and is it a good idea to buy the pre-ruled one?

Also I have Manga Studio Debut and I can't work out how to use it, does anyone know a better way of toning pages? I use Photoshop but the patterns I have aren’t the best and alas Deleter comic works doesn't work with my computer *pouts* And (enough with the questions) if you were doing a doujinshi how big would you scan it in Photoshop to get it to print size? And to think I have 4 design/Illustration degrees *laughs* Showed I paid attention in class, not ^^

I really have to think of something to do with Matt in Nihil.

And yay for tummy aches, had it all week *grumbles*

EDIT: stolen of [profile] rubbersoul1967   If anyone was moaning at Near's English voice then spare a thought for the poor French who have to sit through Near sounding so manly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXG_DhXdw30 *sniggers* Oh god the acting is horrible.

You know more about those matters than me ;;;
I use normal paper, because I scan the pics anyway, so the paper I use is never important (-o-;

As for toning program, I use Deleter Comic Works (English) and Comic Works Max (Japanese), but if you have Manga Studio and it's good, you should stick to that one (^^)
I have no idea because I've never seen that program, so I couldn't tell which one is better.

I scan my pictures and pages at 600dpi.

Heh I just want to use it as it's thicker paper and I rub out like hell which smudges after I ink it and I can't use tablets to make clean ink lines (;_;)

I guess I'll stick with the Manga one as it has nice tones but man it's complex.

When you scan at 600dpi do you tone at that size too? It's just when I tone large it comes out weird printed. I'm trying to practice for Ciara's story as I used to tone by hand so CG is a new thing for me.

Yes, I tone at 600dpi and it works fine for me. It looks good when printed (^^)
