Doing the meme everyone and their cat has done as I’m terribly bored  (T_T)

1.    What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Moved away, failed then came back home *doh*

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never do but this year I’m going to stick to them. Make more friends, stop being so shy, do more art, actually do something with said art (when I decide what) Designing for games would be cool but I would have to go to uni again and I don’t think I could bear it all over again.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No

5. What countries did you visit?
Sadly none, almost got to go to Japan but had to spend money on rent *sigh*

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Friends, a paid job I enjoy, to RP, to get rid of my shyness so some of my dreams can come true (is a dreamer)

7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I can never remember exact dates.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Honestly none so far, which is why I’m determined to be the best I can in the New Year. I let my depression this year get to me when I should of fought it because I'm not a depresed person natural, silly yes, down not so much.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Moving out then having to come home because I found out just how uncaring my best friend could be. I lost a good job, confidence and a friendship because of that move.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not until now, stupid chest infection.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
 New desktop computer, Okami game, MN doujinshi

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Everyone here who has been so nice to me and put up with my emo. Chatting to you guys helped me get over one of the worst moments in my life (see 9)

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? worried?
Louise’s, the harsh words that came out of her mouth still depress me now.

14. Where did most of ALL! your money go?
Games, art equipment, clothes, Japanese goods (anime, manga, doujinshi, cute toys)

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Getting into Death note and meeting new people who turned out to be really cool.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
Patrick wolf – Accident emergency. Saw him live and he reminds me that imagination is vital in this world. So bright, so colorful.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Same, sadder
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner (must eat more pie)
iii. richer or poorer? I’m always poor but temp job has helped a bit. Pity it ends in 2 days.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Drawn

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Procrastinate

20. How will you be spending did you spend Christmas?
I spent it at my sisters eating too much, watching the telly, playing games and just being silly.

22. Did you fall in love in 2007?
No *sniff*

Never

24. What was your favourite TV programme?
Heroes, Supernatural, Dexter, South park, FMA, Bleach

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don’t hate, unless it’s myself. There are some people I mildly dislike though.

26. What was the best book you read?
Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay. Never thought I would enjoy it but I did, he’s such a twisted but likable character.

27. What was your greatest musical (re)discovery?
The Eagles, loved their new album.

28. What did you want and get?
Sad to say I never get what I want.

29. What did you want and not get?
For things to go back to normal for me and my best friend. And to RP, I wish I had apped for B now or at lest got my act together when characters were free and people wanted others to play them, but I’m too shy for that.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Transformers. It was just an excuse for fighting robots but it brought out the 10 year old in me who played with those toys.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I just spent the day with my sister being silly and spending my birthday cash, a lady never reveals her age XD

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
For people to like me and want to know me or at least a certain friendship back to normal. I’m such a broken record but I miss her.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Jeans, converse, T-shirts with stupid geeky logos, I like to call my look geek chic.

34. What kept you sane?
Going online and reminding myself that some friends are worth it. Drawing and watching TV as sometimes its fun to escape reality and let your mind wander.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Yu Shirota or Jared Padalecki, he looks like a giant puppy.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
To be honest there have been so many I’ve forgot. The UK government and it’s nanny state annoys me in general.

37. Who did you miss?
Louise

38. Who was the best new person you met?
All of my dear online friends most especially kurosaki_akane, kleine_aster, conjure_lass, optical_nerve, pana and miruvix who have been lovely to chat to and I hope to get to know them better *watches them flee in horror* And Annie at work who I will miss once I leave as she’s so funny.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007:
Even if you miss a person badly you know if they treat you badly you have to learn to let go. I have to listen to that in the New Year, if i don’t feel free to kick me.
