Awfully egotistical is it not? *looks sheepish* But, I’m having a terrible time, been trying not to gripe, but what with my computer dying, not buying a new one because of money and indecision, still being a bit breathless when I exert myself, job hunting being really unpleasant. I also feel I lost touch with some friends when I was ill for a month, we just don’t talk anymore, and it’s getting me down. Add to that Twitter and my messengers’ being an arse and not letting me on.

I just need a hug. I hate that fandom has moved to Twitter because I can’t keep up and get to know people, and those I do know have seem to have forgotten I...

Off to sisters for a barbie and to get terribly drunk in the midday sun. Only mad dogs and Englishmen girls ;P

I don't think it's egotistical. I put a H/D love meme up in January. It EXPLODED. Sometimes we just need to know that people care about us.

I'm glad you don't ♥ Sometimes I worry that I come across as very ME, but you're right Rinny sometimes you do need to know people care. I've been very low for a few days because I know some friends are being distant.

It seems to me like it has, well the inception part of it, other fandoms are very much still here. Ideas are formed there, and friendships and I just find it hard to keep up with it. DAMN MY OLD FART WAYS LOL

Sadly most people are based there though, I wouldn't know anything that was happening unless I looked there. I always think people aren't around, until I look to Twitter and realise they are. It makes me feel that people only care for my art....

ME TOO LUCY, ME TOO. A LOT. I keep being alternately REALLY UPSET and sort of zen about this. Like, one moment I am all OH NO I GUESS I HAVE TO GET A TWITTER OR I WILL BE ALONE UNTIL THE DAY I DIE, and then the next moment I am like, CHILL THE FUCK OUT, SELF, IT IS ONLY FANDOM. I don't even know which is the saner reaction :|

Overall it is just easier to do nothing, though, as it always is... and also now I feel like being active on Twitter would just be, like, GIVING IN.

I'm happy to listen to any feelings--isn't that what fandom's kind of about--life has you done and you make something or someone makes something that cheers you. You just get to explode with the feelings, whether they're good or bad.

And you definitely seem enthusiastic--without doubt! All my interactions with you have left a smile on my face. Nodding at the shyness. It's so hard to get over but bit by bit you meet people. And gchatting is a great way to keep in touch. Though I agree about twitter. I think I'm going to have to get on that wave.

Hey, no saying sorry, i'm the worst at missing the posts my friends make *hugs* I hope it fades for you hun, and you can get back to having fun. That feeling of isolation is not nice at all. If you want someone to talk to you know i'm always here for you (though having huge computer problems, but that doesn't mean i'm not here)I'm still feeling a bit that way myself, I don't know why, it's not like fandoms still not there (think i just don't get on with twitter much).
