Kate Bush is wonderful inspiration ♥  Charles has such a hard face to draw, originally almost scrapped this as I thought it was so awkward and I had messed it up facially, not enough emotion there. Though I need to draw a follow up to this of forgiveness and reconciliations, that will hold more emotions. Had to put their radar dish in there XD

I really want to change my style....

The best fanart I have seen in this fandom. I love it, I love the softness of them, the red and gold colour palette (except for little accents like Charles' blue scarf and eyes, the blue light source in the second one), and the soft backgrounds that fade away.

Also because I'm weird....basically all of Erik's clothing in the second piece. I love how his coat billows and the line of his trousers. And his facial expression. Heartbreaking! Also....Charles is wearing paisley in both pieces. ♥

Omg, I'm literally breathless right now, and my heart! Honestly? I looked at the paintings before I read your text, and my heart literally *clenched* at the second one, because the *look* on each of their faces!!! Erik's agonizing guilt, and Charles... Charles' face read perfectly to me of forgiveness. So I think you did that perhaps without seeing it yourself, but to me, it's totally, totally there. (But more scenes of forgiveness and reconciliation are A-okay!!! :DDD)

I love your use of color. There's a real fullness to your art that makes me want to reach out and touch it. Especially your use of color--it makes me yearn for my New England autumn. I actually prefer the more subtle emotion because I can focus on the entire atmosphere of the scene instead of just the moment, does that make sense?

Anyway, these are wonderful, you are wonderful, and I would not be opposed to sequel make-outs. ♥!
