I am so sorry I haven’t been around; I rather worried some people too for going missing. About a month ago, I had a pretty bad asthma attack, I was taken to the hospital because I could hardly breathe. My own fault for working with a lot of dust at old my job (finished that non pay thing now, thank god) So, been stuck at home on a nebuliser, tired, having a hard time doing anything because you need to breath to move, and horribly bored out of my skull. I’m okay now and the doc says it was just a one off reaction and to try and avoid allergens (laughed at that because that’s impossible, what am I NOT allergic too? LOL) but yeah I’m much better and missed everyone, god I feel so shy right now, it's been so long...
Thank god for TV, Film and my Xbox for keeping me sane in these boring times though ♥
OH GOD! Dragon Age 2 owns my heart right now, stomped all over it as well. Anders you, asfhdhshs……*explodes* Will say my thinky thoughts on it in another post, I have LOTS of them regarding that game. It’s like Red Dead Redemption, in that you become so involved with the characters you can’t help but react when things don’t go so well.
DOCTOR WHO IS AWESOME, AS ALWAYS. Nuff said ;P Tis the show that has everything I adore. And, SUPERNATUAL season ender ASFAFSAFS ♥ I think a lot of shows just have me staring at the telly with a 'Oh christ when's the next season/episode coming up? OMFG I'm going to explode!!!' face 0-0
I’m also on a serious fantasy/comic fantasy/ historical fantasy kick at the moment. I finally found the time to sit down and watch The Eagle and I LOVED IT. Roman Britain is one of my favourite historical periods. My own home town was once Roman, and I remember when I was young helping an uncle find Roman coins in the fields. It was amazing to pick them up, and to imagine the Romans who used to live there so many centuries ago. Also, I don’t know, I just have such a serious adoration for this kind of movie, where opposites start with hate and slowly become friends (and men look broody and built ♥) Jamie Bell gets to be amazing and broody, plus Tatum portrays angst and hurt VERY WELL ♥
Also, saw Thor which was brilliant, rather like the first Iron Man it doesn’t take itself too seriously. Plus Loki was amazing, loved that they gave him depth, and didn’t make him such a cartoon villain. Bring on X-Men First Class tomorrow night XD So excited to see Xavier and Eric’s epic love affair, and EPIC falling out on screen lol I’m going to be picky I know it, as there’s nothing I don’t know about the X-men (huge X nerd) I’m already frowning over lack of Scottish and Irish accents for Moira and Sean D: I will behave and go in with clear eyes.

Oh god yes that’s me all over as well, you can bet I’ll be comparing it to the comics. I’m trying to tell myself that ‘continuity’ is a myth in comics fandom, and to go with the flow, that it’s not a prequel or anything, but an AU of sorts. I am annoyed at the lack of an international cast. Because Moira is the one who adopts Wolfsbane, who is one of my fave mutants, IN SCOTLAND. WHERE SHE IS FROM *POUTS* Banshee should be Charles age too, and Angel is a new generation mutant. And, why can Emma turn to diamond when she develops that later on? SHUTTING UP NOW LOL I promise to not be that bad XD And the epic bromance will be enough to make me happy ♥ It’s Mcavoy and Fassbender, you HAVE to ship it lol NOTHING can be as bad as Last Stand, NOTHING XD
Lydia showed me that. I’m so torn; if I have time to draw whose side do I choose? I know I’m an angst puppy, but maybe romance could be fun. But then again not many angst participants. I have no ideas for either though *pouts* I totally appreciate hearts Deadpool anytime, and to imagine that’s Eames pulling that pose makes its trillion time cooler. Ohh god I want a Deadpool movie so bad, where he flirts with Thor or sits on Captain Americas lap like in the comics.
Yay glad to see your still writing, hope schools not so bad. And yusssssssssss DEMON EAMES, how I love thee for writing that verse, seeing more would be a dream.

on 2011-06-10 10:07 am (UTC)Ugh that sucks. Allan and I split it between us when it came out and then spent all weekend playing it, it's awesomesauce. So funny, and I LOVE Wheatley.
Well I suppose if they wanted to use Moira they had to make her American for the whole plot with the CIA/Cuban missile crisis etc to work. I DON'T KNOW REALLY, I just listen to the boys argue for hours about it all and play happily in the little movie-verse sandpit, lol. Last night they spent FOREVER trying to work out the Alex Summers/Scott Summers timeline, and I was like, lol. XD
I want ooone tooooo but alas. ): I think they would probably stuff it up anyway, but then again a lot of really good comic movies are coming out, so they might pull it off. WE SHALL SEE.
Yussss slowly, but I am. School is nearly doen for the semester and I will have lots of work next semester when my thesis starts properly, so I want to get as much writing done over the holidays as I can. :<

Yeah, that's the only reason I could think of them changing her. They gave Hank the role of being the geneticist instead. Plus she dates Sean in the comics and that's all kinds of awkward in the movie LOL I'm trying to separate it from the comics and the other movies as parts don't make sense if you fall back on them. I've read in interviews that they may not go with alex being Scotts brother because of teh age issues, that would really blow.
I think they're going ahead with the Deadpool movie. It was mentioned in my SFX and that Ryan may still be playing him. I guess if Chris Evans can be CA AND the Human Torch, then he can be DP and GL :D
Oh, I wish you all the best at school when it comes around mate. AND even more besties to you writing more. Nel could you share the link to your X-men fic, as I haven't read it? *puppy eyes*
