But Germany played brilliantly and our defence took a holiday :) Though 'argh' at that bloody ref missing an obvious goal X_X

It was such a painful game to watch, England was rubbish!! Poor David James, he was so unprotected the whole game, arrghh. The thing is our players are actually good, as good if not better than their equivalents in Germany, but our players sucked at making sophisticated passes and just general ARGH!

England always are torture to watch, I have no fingers left I was chewing them so badly X_X I agree, individually the players are good but something seems to go horribly wrong when they play internationally. They just don't gel. The defence was atrocious, they kept buggering off to attach and the Germans stormed through what was left. I would have loved for them to play Crouch instead of Rooney because he's just not on his game.

*hugs to bits* Just hope our papers remember to stay classy like the England team did in defeat ;)
