If they were ever to do a western Death Note movie :( I’ve always thought Near would be hard to cast till last night. Managed to watch the BBC version of 'the Turn of the screw' and Josef Lindsay who plays Miles would make a fantastic Near in my eyes.


Not only is he English but he can play innocent, creepy and twisted so well like he did with the haunted Miles. I think it’s his hair that screams Near to me though XD

I know as soon as he appeared on my TV I flailed a bit and squeaked out a 'Near ♥!!!'. After seeing him being a bit more evil I just thought that's the face who would make Mello rage ^^ I'm glad you like this.

He's much more creepy in the show, makes me realise how bloody strange a live action Near would be. Oh that makes me actually want to see a live action film just to see more Wammy-era ♥ They fleeced us in the anime :(
