Yep day later and I’m still sad and all woe at David Tennant no longer being the Doctor, though he’ll always be my Doctor ;) It was a fun send off even if some plot holes still have me scratching my head. And:-

Master: I don't know what I'd be without that noise
Doctor: Wonder what I'd be without you.

God I love the slash Bromance XD The Master at the end realizing the Time Lords returning meant nothing good for him was a great bit. Especially after the Doctor explained all the evils that were to come along with the Time Lords coming. So well we have Matt Smith as the Dr now so lets see how he does ;)

Plus! Why do the US TV stations always feel the need to remake British TV? Just heard that their doing a US remake of Being Human and I’m wondering ‘why?’ Yes it’s fabulous and great but it’s not like the UK is that far away from the US in cultural understanding and language that it would be a problem to just use the original instead. I can never see the point really, okay the Office remake was good but then they went on to remake Life on Mars, Coupling, One Foot in the Grave ect Which erm least said about them the better.

You never see us going ‘You know Supernatural would be so much better set in Huddersfield’ It’s not like US audiences won’t watch a UK show, the popularity of Harry Potter has proved that accents don’t get in the way. It seems such a waste to me when they're are so many original scripts waiting to be picked up on both sides of the pond.

Oh god I forgot all about that, I watched the pilot once and gawd it was a car wreck. If Dave isn't a curry eating slob or Rimmer's not a sniveling smeghead it's not Red Dwarf X_X

Oh God, yes. Lister's actor looked so macho and cool, not an overweight, slobby spacebum.

I think with Being Human, it's prolly partly due to Twilight making vampires the 'in-thing'. Which makes me scared they might try to reinvent it as some teen, heartthrob drama.
When it comes down to it, I'm sure it's some executive deciding that remaking it will get them more money than buying the original show to broadcast. Usually the only thing I can think of an American remake have better for it is that they can afford bigger budgets for special effects.

They even made Cat female 0_o

I agree, they'll go for making it look pretty and such with the actors and affects and forget that characters like George are supposed to look nerdy and uncool. It they turn it into 'The Vampire Diaries' I'll cry. I just hope the remake won't lose some of it charm, that they seem so ordinary despite being monsters. I think the executives fail to notice it's got a massive US fanbase already, though that may have thrown the fuel on the fire for the remake :(

Could you ever imagine a US Blackadder? That would be scary X_X
