I love my friends and SPACE love!!

I've been feeling a bit poorly lately (I swear I have Swine Flu) and haven't heard from my best friend in nearly a month so I was feeling really down and mopey when I received a huge parcel in the post. It was from my friend Steve W. On opening it he'd sent me my own little kitty, well a transforming kitty from the new Transformers movie.

I have my own RAVAGE ♥♥♥

I feel like a big kid but I think that was so lovely of him to just send me him as he's always doing that for me. I haven't visited him for ages so I think once my Scottish trip is over I'm going to pop to York to give him a massive hug ♥♥♥

I also believe after watching Search for Spock that there isn’t a person alive who couldn’t convince me that’s not a love story between Kirk and Spock ^^  Seriously Kirk nearly losses everything to get Spock back XD

You know despite the flashiness of the new movie I hope the writers and JJ don’t forget what the heart of Star Trek is. That beyond the adventures in space, beyond the science and beyond the fun it’s always been to me about family and finding it between the most misplaced people you could imagine. That’s what I love and adore about star Trek ♥

And Rei! Happy Birthday I'll have to get my pencils working for you when I feel better ♥

Haha, I actually feel you on that Kirk/Spock thing. Even though they're not my pairing, it's so much fun to review canon and see what you feel is a grand love story unfold. XD

LOL! I'm still in AWWW mode from recieving that, he always buys me the loveliest birthday presents.

You can see why it paved the way for the slashers of yesteryear, it's so in your face. And man even the early series was full of slashy undertones and this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5s5ZFNwp9s&feature=channel_page) scene is so blatant I couldn't stop laughing :D I have no idea what the writers were thinking with that scene, well okay yes I do FFFFFF!! Even in the 5th film when Kirk goes to hug Spock, Spock says "Not in front of the Klingons" It writes itself really :D

I also See Kirk and Spock as Near and Mello, the emotional one and the logical one *laughs*

*Pets* I'll make you tons of chicken soup so you can feel better T_T

And yes you do, the Soundwave figure is mega as he has 3 change modes. i miss his tape deck mode though ;_;
