I just wanted to thank some people today because you made me very happy to have such cool comment wars even if we all showed what utter game geeks we are *grin* I just miss having a good time with my friends like that because I love talking to you guys ♥

I had to show people this video because I bawled (yeah I'm a wimp) But it's just beautiful what conections humans and animals can have, just watch it and you'll see ^_~  

Wish it was better quality but it was filmed in the 70's.

I cried like a baby because it was amazing how much he rememberd them. You don't see it in that clip but he even let them play with his cubs ♥

It is completely true. It was filmed by the Born Free Foundation which was set up to release Big cats back into the wild. Christian the lion is quite famous, here's his link http://www.bornfree.org.uk/campaigns/big-cats/about/christian-the-lion/

I think that much too often humans assume that animals 'don't remember' or 'can't feel' or shit like that, but it's so clear that they're every bit as capable of remembering and loving anyone as we can be at our best! /;A; I love animals ♥ Especially any kind of cat ♥♥♥

I agree, every time people call animals dumb I think they're stupid themselves. They're just like us some are spoiled or moody and some like Christian can love so much *bawls* I used to have a cat who would follow me to school because I stopped to pet him, I made a friend for life there ^^

/;-; That's the thing, animals are just as varied as humans, and humans often forget that WE'RE animals just as much as any other kind of animal! Between us and lions like this, what are the differences really? We both have brains, and hearts, and blood and eyes, and we both carry and nurse and raise children- I'm always amazed that even from a purely biological standpoint humans so often forget how alike most animals [ourselves included] truly are.

That's so beautifully put, you've summed up everything I feel about animals ♥ It's one of the reasons why I feel so strongly that anyone who abuses an animal should get the same punishment they would if say it was a child. I feel strongly right now because a friend of my sisters left his dog to stave to death and lied to people that he'd took him to a shelter. He only got 3 month jail time for being so cruel D:

That's so true, I'll always take being nice over being mean even though some think it's boring. If it has fluffy kittys following you it's a lovely plus ^^
