I forgot to mention while I was away Neo mag printed my entry. I was one of the first artist to be shown *beams* Here’s the scans from the mag if you’d like to look.

It was so cool seeing it printed like that ♥ Though they printed my age!!!! *stomps on them* I never did see my prize though *is sad* I can’t wait to see the other winners, the manga art winner which was printed after my entry is really amazing and I’m so embarrassed my effort got through because the standard was so high.

It makes me want to try harder with my art and I really want to be a freelance artist or draw manga but a thousand curses on not knowing anything about the big bad art world and knowing how to even start on my own *pouts up a storm*

Oh when I went to my best friends for her birthday I got to paint a mug so I have to show you my crappy handiwork.

LOL it’s terrible and I was hung-over *ehehhh* so couldn’t think of what to do through my blazing headache -_-. In the end I did a badly drawn (painting pottery is harder than it looks) Inma style fat chibi of myself saying 'Lucy' written in Japanese. Can’t wait to see what it looks like as we had to leave them to be put in the kiln. Hope to see Louise soon to collect it and laugh. It was fun seeing her again though because I missed her so much. I had a little companion in my room at her house too as she got her cat Tinky back off her ex boyfriend, I’d wake up in the morning to find her asleep on my legs, evil kitty ^^

Finally got the DN special downloaded, yeah I’m so behind. Oh my god I love the extra Near scenes @_@ And they hit my bloody Near kink *dies* And is it me or is that Lego building Wammys or Westminster in the opening scenes?, either way Near should consider at job at Lego world with those skills. But…but Mello, oh poor dear Mello where were you? ;_; seriously that made me so sad, everything he did was important in helping Near get closer to pinning down Yagami, how could they do that to him? At least he has us fans to bring him back to his former glory. You know it makes me wish I’d done better at animation at Uni so I can do my own Mello Near Wammy scene.

And just for Akane heres my old Sally who from now on is called Akane-chan ♥

 
I also need a kick up the bum for my fear of going on AIM. I really don’t know what I’m playing at because I miss people but I’ve been so shy since I got back, even taking ages to comment on LJ because I don’t want to be bothersome. This rambling entry is my way of getting over that by typing and typing rubbish to boot LOL! I’ll shut up now *grin*

Ahh, so cool you got your art printed in a magazine, I really liked reading what the judge's had to say about ti because I agree with every word. Be damn proud of yourself there.

Hee, your cat reminds me of my first one, though she had some white on her.

I still have yet to see the special... I never saw anything about a version with subtitles being released, I was waiting for someone to post it up in one of the DN coms. Unless I missed it or something. Though from what I heard I'm pretty indignant too, poor Mello, underappreciated always, I just want to watch to see the Wammy scene from the one-shot animated (though I'm annoyed they replaced Matt with random guy there too). The M's have no luck in DN, its a cursed letter.

Yeah Matty was totaly jipped, it wouldn't have killed them to at least add him D: It was cool to see Linda though. I saw the RAW version and couldn't understand a darn thing but it's a lot like the TV series bar a few new scenes at the beginning.

Yeah, the character who actually does only appear in one panel is given more time and lines than the guy who got killed to help take Kira down, uh huh, right. I seriously want to know what Madhouse was smoking for their treatment of the second arc. Mm I might just go ahead and download the RAW then.

It looks like it's framed in a gallery, I still refuse to believe I won because man they're are better artists than me in the UK.

It was done in a shop that you could choose things to paint, I was amazed at how many colours you could use. Pottery is so hard to paint, I was wobbling all over like a mad man.

I'm trying I keep staring at my AIM but just can't seem to click that button. I'm a little scared to be honest and am still going through a bad thing in feeling like I should lurk again -_- And I don't know whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Aww I’m sorry you had to go through that *hugs* I hate having to draw things that way too. Even when I did the mug I felt so pressured because Lou kept telling people I was a good artist so it would look great, think I disappointed her a bit there ^^ I have to thank your sister for the chibi idea though.

You know I’m not sure either. I think she is supposed to be grey because Sam is brown, but I’m only going from memory there. But like you said I’ve seen her in all sorts of colours. Maybe she changes colour when she’s happier, you can’t be sad all the time *laughs*

Well she's my best friends kitty really , but she's so cute I always have to take pictures of her when I visit. I do have a pet of my own, a really old smelly dog called Kaneda ♥
