RP Question

I have a small problem that isn't good for a RP-er and it's the main reason I've not been RP-ing much...I'm scared of doing LOGS!!! I want to reply more in Nihil but I can't get over my stupid fear of doing a log with someone. It's complicated to explain why and even I don't know why I get really nervous about it (the Gevanni one was killing my nerves) I think it's because I've never been a great writer and am a little afraid of not really knowing what I'm doing in moving a log along. I read others logs to get an idea but they seem so wonderfully done and naturally flowing I always think I can't do that. 

I think I'm getting the hang of 1st person comments so I wanted to ask if anyone has any hints they can give me to get over my stupid, stupid fear. Man I hate being a noob ^_^

You know, I had the same problem when I started RPing. I also thought that I failed at writing, and tags were taking me forever, and sometimes they still do, and there are still times when I'm nervous about all of it.

So here are a few of my personal thoughts about the matter, maybe they'll be of some help.

I've come to realize that this fear is unreasonable and pointless (because believe me, it is - other players are considerable most of the time, and they even fail to see why you're being so hard on yourself when you shouldn't), but yeah, even if you're aware of that, what does it change if you still feel scared either way, right? ^^;

I guess it'a also a matter of experience - it's something you simply need to get used to. Everything that's new for us is like that.

Beside that, it's also a matter who you play with. Characters that you care for naturally make you approach them more carefully.

You have a different mindset when you play with somebody you know and a different when you play with a stranger, since you're not completely sure what the other person might expect from you. The best way to solve that is probably to chat with the mun, and simply ask about it.

I can see what you mean by the fear, it makes you think you are making mistakes when in reality you're doing fine. Your right I do have to chat with the muns more as I let my shyness get the better of me and I get shy of playing with people which I shouldn't be.

It's why I love Nihil and Sigil as everyone is really nice. I'll be sure to ask away should I get stuck more and thanks for the kind words ^^
