Your film geek is showing

Just got back from watching CLOVEFIELD and without spoling anything (because I'm not a meanie) I'd just like to say it's GREAT!. Haven’t watched a good monster movie in ages, it's choppy, shocking and the camera work throws you right in the action. Thank you JJ Abrams for doing something so interesting with what could have turned out to be such a generic monster bash. I actually forgot I was dying from a bad cold I was that engrossed.

Had a chuckle as going in there were signs saying if you suffer from motion sickness to re-think watching it as some people hadn’t been able to see it till the end. After watching it I can see why if you though the Blair Witch's camera work was choppy well Cloverfields is everywhere.

Even cooler was the fact we got some good trailers for once, Hell Boy is looking great fun. Guillermo del Toro has brought in quite a lot from the twisted fairytale of Pan's Labyrinth and I'm sure from the bad guys he has been reading Elric or has been playing the Witcher :) I've heard he's doing the Hobbit films that should be great, he's one of my favourite directors.

And saw the new Star Trek trailer, I'm actually really looking forward to that which is surprising.

Also something happened today that made me quite happy and feeling lighthearted but I'll tell you tomorrow as I'm quite tired.

One of my favourite things with going to the cinema is seeing the trailers, I get upset if I miss them *sad*

But yay, looking forward to Cloverfield even more now. Though I'm going to see Seeeney Todd first XD

I'm the same which was why I was so happy to get some good ones. It made up for having to sit through the boring TV trailers *groan*

Oh I can't wait to see Sweeney Todd, though keep picturing Jack Sparrow when he speaks XD

Can´t ....wait.... o.o
Glad to hear you thought it was good! Not every J.J. Abrams vehicle is great, after all. ^^**** (*cough*MI:3*cough*)

But LOST started again, so I have something to do while I wait. *_*

And YAY Guillermo de Toro!

I hope you like it, you'll have to tell me what you think. I'm a monster movie fan so I may have been bias. And yeah MI:3 *shoots it dead*

LOST starts tonight but it's evil as it's on the exact same time as Supernatural :(

Love him to bits, have you seen the trailer for his new movie the Orphanage, I couldn't help but think ghostly Wammys XD
