X-men: First class art: I wont make you (Charles/Erik)

I think I have fallen a little in love with these guys…again ♥

In addition, because it’s fun to show how things looked before I threw a rainbow at it, these are my original pencils.

This is the picture that has finally killed my computer. Photoshop crashed at least 5 times, and I lost so much of my original painting on this. It took me two days to colour because of the crashing, that’s a long time lol I’m so worried I won’t be able to colour any more art till I get a new computer at this rate.

And, in case anyone missed it I drew Charles too in this post. And, again i'd like to pimp my Tumblr ♥

THANKS BUNNIE *HUGS YOU TO DEATH....WELL, NOT DEATH ;_;*I feel such a cheater because of PS freezing, I just though 'sod it' and threw loads of textures to at it to make the colours pop. Always amazed at what they can do to a drawing XD Only Erik would have the patience to put up with a drunk Charles ♥

You can hold it as much as you like luv, just beware of Erik's shark teeth ♥

Charles' cardigen! Erik's turtleneck! <3 They are so recognisible, I'm still amazed. I'm a bit worried about the precariously balanced wine glass on the couch, though. That's bound to make a mess sooner or later.

Who would have ever thought cardies and jumpers could look so sexy? Thanks so much ♥ Ha-ha yeah it's really not safe there. Though Erik can always blame it on Charles for getting grope-y and cheating whilst tipsy ;)

First - you are just so amazing with backgrounds and textures. <3 I am so in love with this! Everything in this picture has its own unique, realistic texture and it all comes together to form such an aesthetically pleasing composition. And I love the way that you draw people. Charles is so sexy and Erik is just great - AND HIS TURTLENECK. I love the scene that you've created here. You are so talented and I am constantly impressed with the quality of work you put out.

I'm sort of lost for words how to reply, as you give the best feedback ever, thank you ever so much ♥ I love adding texture to drawings, sometimes like on skin, they can make it come to life. Would you believe once upon a time I really couldn't draw people very well, it always means a whole lot when you guys say I do. It does help that i tend to draw from the most lovely guys lol

I don't actually like this ship...or the movie. BUT. This picture is awesome. I love the composition and the earthy colours and all of the textures. Charles was one of the few good things for me in that film and he looks like a total dude here - like, literally...looking at his face in your picture is making me grin, because I can practically see him moving and hear him thinking. Like everybody else, I'm loving Charles's cardigan. But I also love the way you've drawn McAvoy's nose! You've really got his look down.

I love that he has such old man clothes but he looks so lovely in them XD Thank you, it wasn't easy to draw it, but his nose is so distinct he wouldn't look like James if I hadn't tried hard XD

THIS IS AMAZING!! I LOVE the coloring - love the expressions, the body positions - Erik's sweet, indulgent expression, Charles being a gung-ho weirdo in his own Charlesy way, the HAND HOLDING!! the outfits! the red wine and chess board! You've captured them beautifully, they look so much like them. This picture makes me happy.

Thank you ever so much ♥ I was so sure they had such quiet moments like this, even after the chess playing and the serious 'there can be no peace talks'. Charles is such a lush at college, so wanted to add that to his home life too. It's so very hard to draw actors and it makes me really happy to know I captured them well.
