Whoo are you? whoo,whoo,who,who?
Nov. 11th, 2010 12:16 pmI’m doing a little get to know me post as I have some new friends here and I’m so damn shy I daren’t talk to people half the time. No wonder in such a fun fandom I feel a bit lonely and dull, dull, dull. So ask any question you’d like of me, who is Lucy? why is she such a prat? Ect XD and by the power of the internets I’ll try my best to answer them ;)
Or have this meme to make it easier lol
Ask me my Top Five Whatevers. Fannish or otherwise. Any top fives. Doesn't matter what, really! And I will answer them all in a new post (or in comments). Possibly with pictures.
Urm also because I was away, does anyone have any recs of anything I may have missed?

on 2010-11-11 02:16 pm (UTC)1. Since I was old enough to hold a pencil :D I was the bane of my mum’s life for drawing on the walls so she got me a colouring book and it went from there. I've always loved to draw even if I do bitch about my art *laughs*
2. Honestly I don't have one D: I like far too many people’s art, so it all jumbles together in my mind. I love going to galleries and wowing over things but I always forget who they are X_X
3. Oh hard question, too many places XD It's probably a bit boring but I’ve always wanted to visit America. Living in such a small country myself I’d love to be able explore somewhere so vast. I have a thing for sprawling cities because we don't have them here. And maybe being a film geek helps that too XD Other than that, Japan, I’m fascinated by the culture, tradition and technology clash they have, it's a bit like England’s in some ways.
4. I love Brit pop, used to be such a Blur fan ♥ As well as indie, rock and metal. And music from the 60, 70s and 80's, David bowie, Queen, T-rex, the Who, The Beatles ect are too much awesome. I do have a soft spot for green day, Jimmy eat world and Biffy Clyro right now.
5. I'm 5'3" or a tidgy pud as my friend calls me XD

on 2010-11-11 02:40 pm (UTC)2) HAH! That sounds like me! I can never remember -___-.
3) I'm American and as such, I'd highly recommend going. ^___^ New York is fab, but everyone over here that mentions going to America only ever seems to want to go there. If you go, you must go to the other states as well; New Mexico, Arizona, Washington. So beautiful ♥ Japan would be so friggin' cool! I've always wanted to go, but haven't quite got there yet. I'm in Ireland at the moment (married an Irishman ^_^) and I've used that chance to visit a few places. I'd been all over America, but never outside of my own country before. In three years, I've managed to go to England, Scotland, Greece and N. Ireland. Going to Germany next year, too ^_^. I have a bit of Wanderlust >_> Now we're looking at moving to the UK (there really isn't much in Ireland T_T) - possibly Brighton or around there.
4)BLUR! \o/ YES!!! I agree with all of the above (and then some). I'm pretty much a music whore xD. I have a really eclectic taste, but I grew up on rock; the who, beatles, aerosmith, Zeppelin, Idol, BOWIE *wiggle*.
5) EEEE! Wee \o/ I love it. *squishes you* I'm 5'9" o.o *ginormous* -___-

on 2010-11-11 05:30 pm (UTC)2)Don’t get me started on people’s names, faces I can do but names ARGH!
3) I want to go to New York but I can never get my friends to go with me because they’ve already been, so they torture me with tales of how cool it is XD Oh I’ve always wanted to visit Ireland, don’t know why I haven’t yet as it’s not far at all really. I’ve been to a few places in Europe but never had much of a chance to travel, damn being poor lol. Brighton’s a really lovely place, one of the best seaside towns we have XD Oh and Germnay, so lucky bet you'll love it there XD the food is to die for XD
4) They’re awesome and I like the gorilaz too but because Jamie Hewlett does the designs, I adore his Tank girl comics. It’s the same with me if the songs great I’ll love it, it’s why I can never pin down bands. But my parents were big 70’s rock fans so it stuck with me XD
5) Hah you are as tall as my best friend, I crick my neck talking to her XD

3) Ooooh oh oh! I know! Come to Ireland for a week, pick me up and we'll go together, yeah? xD
4) Ditto \o/
5) *Facepalm* I was that tall at 14 years old. Teenage years were rough...I was so awkward -__-

on 2010-11-11 06:15 pm (UTC)...I might be being slightly dramatic, but really, Ireland just doesn't suit me. You might love it despite my non-love for it. I'm a silly little thing.

on 2010-11-11 06:16 pm (UTC)Oh I like all sorts, used to go to the German market when it came to my town. I can't remember the names (I'm terrible) but one was a sausage dish and it tasted wonderful, also beef dumplings and these pasta ones that were like ravioli. I'm really partial to German cakes though like Lebkuchen, can't wait for Christmas so the shops stock it :D
