30 Days of Who meme - day 5
Jul. 14th, 2010 07:14 pmDay 05 – Your favorite companion
Numero uno is Jamie McCrimmon, a Highland piper plucked from the bloody battle of Culloden in 1746. I just adore him, he’s brave, loyal, cheeky, naïve, yet always willing to try and understand things that are beyond him and if he can't he'll just pretend he does with a 'aye' to shut the Doctor up. It makes me laugh how much he teases the Doctor especially about his TARDIS piloting skills and I love the dynamic they have of trust and respect. He’s always grabbing onto things, I don’t kid here as you often see him clinging on to his companions, most often the Doctor himself , he wouldn’t know personal space if it bit him on the bum XD
Ah if you need proof of that, proof I shall give, follow yon cut ;)
See hiding round corners usually doesn't involve being quite THAT close.
For a brave Highlander whose faced death he doesn't half love cozying up to the Doctor in scary situations ;)
Or letting the Doctor use him as a pillow.
Or.... well I have no words for that...^_^"
Though the Doctors just as bad at grabbing Jamie in theright 'wrong' places X_X
Okay I have others too so enough Jamie love (for now XD)
Zoe Heriot Zoe is from the 21st century and traveled with the second Doctor and Jamie. She’s an astrophysicist and immensely intelligent, even more so than the Doctor and she delights in reminding him of it. Though somewhat emotionally underdeveloped, having been taught only the value of logic her travels with the Doctor bring out her cheeky side. She’s can kill a computer with her mind alone. Plus who else can rock that sparkly cat suit XD

Donna Noble Super temp or Doctor Donna no matter what mode she's in Miss Noble is great fun. I think I have thing for characters that love to give the Doctor a hard time when he’s being obstinate and Donna does that in spades, she's both feisty and confident. But her relationship with him is great as she becomes his best friend when really that’s what he needed most in the universe after Rose. Oh and I love her for not being saddled with being attracted to the Doctor like poor Martha was.

Adric Oh boy I could go to hell for this opinion in most Doctor Who circles as poor Adric is a much derided character but I like him. I was very young when he first appeared with Tom Baker but I took an instant liking to him because he was a kid as well, at last there was someone I could relate to on the show. He had his flaws but they were flaws every teen has, most describe him as 'a bratish, socially-awkward geek with an overconfident regard for his own abilities' - shame they don't notice his loyalty, friendship, bravery, intelligence too. Sometimes he was whiny but only because he had no family and he lost his Doctor to find him replaced with one that simply didn't seem to want him around, he only really wanted to be noticed by his newly adopted father figure.
