30 Days of Who meme - day 3
Day 03 – Your favorite new series story
Again so many favourites: Utopia, Midnight, Turn Left, and Human Nature/Family of blood. But I think i'll go for these two because they had genuine moments of surprise and I'm hard to surprise (should add Utopia to these really for it's YANA moment and Derek Jacobi.)
1.Dalek
Simply loved this, it's just the absolute terror the Doctor shows towards this lone chained and injured Dalek is, well, fantastic! XD It reminds you how feared they are. The scene that brings this out is the fact that instead of gunning down the whole army trying to stop it’s escape, it chooses to set off the water sprinklers and electrocute all the soldiers in one go, such cold hearted efficiency. Okay the story gets a bit soft toward the end but the first half really brings home why they are the Doctors best enemies (well in my own little world)
2. The Empty Child
Good god but is this one is spooky and that little chap up there is the reason why. Never has hearing the words 'are you my Mummy?' creeped me out, nor upon seeing a gas mask would I think 'exit stage left' :) If anything out scares the angels in Blink, it's this one ;) Oh and we get introduced to Captain Jack and his omnisexual awesomeness XD

It's brill, I mean he's just a kid in gas mask it shouldn't bee so creepy. I love the Doctor Dances too because it's so sad when you find out the young girl is his mum D: Doctor Who is so very camp but darn it if it sometimes makes me want to sob.
