Mar. 3rd, 2010 12:41 pmPeople are already writing of the new Doctor Who due to this new trailer, saying that it looks too childish, but that’s the whole point. We’ve had the adult trailer, this was just a bit of fun aimed at the kids going to watch Alice in Wonderland in 3D. It’s nothing serious, unlike some fans reactions. I do get sick of people saying Matt is rubbish without him having one episode out yet, people didn’t want to give Tennant a chance after Ecklescake left and look how great he turned out. I adore David but it was sadly his choice to leave so don’t take that out on the new guy people. Maybe it’s because I’ve lived through 7 doctors that I’m a bit less jaded, but I do hate it when fans take thing so seriously before they even begin.
Though April 3rd we find out if it’s any good ;)
Also got to watch the new Sherlock Holmes movie and I loved it, it’s a lot of fun and Downey and Law make a fantastic partnership. I think my favourite part is just how eccentric and nutty Holmes is in this, and that Watson is trying to deal with a new life and move on, yet still can’t say no to Holmes and his habit of getting into tricky situations. Also loved the part where Holmes is constantly trying to put a wedge in Watsons relationship with his fiancé, to be honest it’s very slashy and hilarious XD

I'm really looking forward to Matt Smith, because he looks so adorkable - even though I'm going to miss David terribly. ._.
And wasn't Sherlock Holmes like really really slashable? *g*
I also enjoyed Irene though. She was fierce and all kinds of sexy. *_*

on 2010-03-03 05:48 pm (UTC)I'd seen people slashing them before hand, but boy half the time I was 'oh just kiss him already' LOL Loved Irene too, she gave Holmes a run for his money and I thought it was hilarious that he had to check the safe as soon as she arrived at his house :D
