Yep day later and I’m still sad and all woe at David Tennant no longer being the Doctor, though he’ll always be my Doctor ;) It was a fun send off even if some plot holes still have me scratching my head. And:-

Master: I don't know what I'd be without that noise
Doctor: Wonder what I'd be without you.

God I love the slash Bromance XD The Master at the end realizing the Time Lords returning meant nothing good for him was a great bit. Especially after the Doctor explained all the evils that were to come along with the Time Lords coming. So well we have Matt Smith as the Dr now so lets see how he does ;)

Plus! Why do the US TV stations always feel the need to remake British TV? Just heard that their doing a US remake of Being Human and I’m wondering ‘why?’ Yes it’s fabulous and great but it’s not like the UK is that far away from the US in cultural understanding and language that it would be a problem to just use the original instead. I can never see the point really, okay the Office remake was good but then they went on to remake Life on Mars, Coupling, One Foot in the Grave ect Which erm least said about them the better.

You never see us going ‘You know Supernatural would be so much better set in Huddersfield’ It’s not like US audiences won’t watch a UK show, the popularity of Harry Potter has proved that accents don’t get in the way. It seems such a waste to me when they're are so many original scripts waiting to be picked up on both sides of the pond.

I don't think i've ever seen a remake of a foreign film that was as good a the first, Quarantine can't beat REC and I fell asleep watching the Ring ;) Would that be 'Let the right one in'?

As soon as I read about it I thought 'Poor Ciara' There is no way they'll be able to capture the creepy silence the film had or Eli and Oskar's relationship as well as the first.

This year is remake heaven in the film industry, they're even re-doing Nightmare on Elm Street for crying out loud ;_;

Yeah T_T; And =_= even worse, they're going to lose the whole 'lol Eli is actually a boy' thing and just make Eli into a chick. Which makes me SO MAD RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Just watch. Ugh. Lolol even the director of the original movie is raging about the remake. |D; Poor guy.

They are? God why can't they do what the Swedish director did. It was so ambiguous in the film about Eli's gender (I though he was a girl because Lia is a girl LOL) and wasn't till I read up online I realised they did that on purpose to stay close to the book. I really have to pick up the novel X_X

I have hope it will make people watch the original, only to find out it's superior.

Well, if you go to the wiki entry for it and click the actors they're using for the remake...=_=; clearly Eli is going to be a chick. At least in the Swedish one they dubbed over her voice with a boy and made her androgynous and also flashed the scar where Eli's poor parts would have been |D; BUT LOL as if America would do that =A=; cause oh noooo that'd be illegal etc or whatever. Muh.

The book is AMAZING and you're right, I hope at least it'll make people look at the original and read the book. Just how the Umineko anime is introducing fans to the Visual Novels |Db

Yeah they do have a very girly girl playing Eli, no mistaking her for a boy. That scene puzzled me so much as I hadn't read the novel so I was 'huh????? was that a scar?' derp! I can see the pedo police smashing down the directors door if he dared to show Eli like that. So I guess they will go for her being a her so they won't have too, which sucks because it's a awesome twist that Eli's a boy.

Yeah it's like they brought out the Ring mangas after the US film. Umineko is another show I have to check out too. argh too much to read and watch, so little time :D

That's true ;n;/ Ohhh you should. XD Watch the anime before you play the games but I really suggest playing the VNs too because they cut out A LOT and butcher Beatrice and Battler at the end ;n; wuuuu.
