Yeah, the whole fandoms been divided by this season, half love it and half hate it. The Doctor's Wife is the only one that's been universally loved.
To put it simply, I don't feel like this is Doctor Who. I feel like I've tuned in to a completely different show thats using the Doctor Who name. The whole season has been very dull, pants, the characterisation is bleh, the plots are bleh, it comes down to very much like Mr Moffat prancing about on the screen going "Look how clever I am!". The overarching plot ruins the individual episodes. The reveal about River was lame after all the build up, not that I'm saying I could come up with a better thing for her, but my reaction was, "Are you seriously going with that? *sigh*"
It's like, and not to diss American sci-fi, I love their style of sci-fi, I'm halfway through the third season of Battlestar Galactica right now. But it's like I've tuned into some American sci-fi show instead of my lovely, silly, eccentric, daft oh-so-British and corny Doctor Who. I don't like Moffat as series producer at all, I don't think he can handle long-term plot, go back to writing scary one-off's, sir, that's what you're good at. When the latest episodes opened with the Doctor blowing up the cybermen fleet and all that it was like. "W.T.F are you doing."
haha okay, that's a nerd rant. I could go on, I already had a massive bitch about this with my friends on fb, but yeah XD;; seriously, it's just so bad I'm considering not watching when the series picks up again, it's worse than season 3.
I've watched a few reviews on X-Men and I'm thoroughly convinced by them :D Doug Walker a.k.a Nostalgia Critc did a Bum Review of it that was pretty awesome. It does have a couple flaws, but overall a great movie, as I've heard it XD
