(no subject)

So excited to be working with [livejournal.com profile] butterflythread and [livejournal.com profile] darjeelinger on my R!BB art now. Their ideas are well wicked. I feel so spoiled.

EDIT: Just found out I have 4 claims for my art now and I better get my lazy arse in contact with the guys later. Kinda stressed though as I didn’t realise there would be second claims *doh* I had intended to do extra art but don’t know if I’ll be able to now. :/ I'll see what I can do.  So flattered people like my stuff though *blushes*

And talking of spoiled [livejournal.com profile] rei17 and I hope to be posting the Big Bang on the 25th (I think) Rei’s been so busy finishing the story so I have my fingers crossed for her, and I’m sure we can all cheer her on to finish. You can do it hun ♥ She’s been SO wonderful to work with.

My kisskissbangbang pic got a lovely comment on DA

nice guns but why the kissing???????????
whys nots just the gun?

I would think the title said it all luv LOL. So tempted to do full on porn piece (that I’m so rubbish at drawing) in retaliation and go ”There’s your gun…oh you meant the other kind” just to be cheeky XD

Have to admit I may have burned myself out with all the Big Bang drawing of late. So many ideas and another fest to draw for, but my drawings are turning out so crap. May take a break from it for a bit to rest my poor old brain.

And like everyone and their mum I saw Tom Hardy on Chattyman last night. Woke my mum up laughing. BUT COULD HE BE ANYMORE ADORABLE. AND SUCH A SWEETHEART ♥  As if I didn't love him enough already, he stole my heart with his "I'm a sweetheart, I just want people to love me" comment. Me too Tom, me too ♥

I’m so behind still on reading the Big Bangs oh god so many cool ones to read. Dies! So little time and so much stuff to do. I'm sooo tired ;_;

I have to admit I did not expect that there would be double claims for the reversebang. I admit, I'm kind of hoping my art won't get double-claimed because I really don't have that much time right know, two writers are just about enough for me.

I felt really burned out, too after drawing all the art for the big bangs but then I started playing with a new drawing program that is totally amazing and suddenly all I want is to draw all the time :DD

Nor I. I didn't read the writers claims part properly as it was mentioned then. It's hard because of time, and making sure everyone isn't doing a similar story. I don't want to let anyone down. I hope you get what you'd like hun because time is so rare, and your writers do you something great ♥

Aww Lucky ♥ SAI is a lot of fun to play with though. It's like a mini version of Painter (that program is scary) Sad thing for me is I can't draw with my tablet, only colour, so I have to do everything with pencil and pen. I'm just finding it hard to sit down and concentrate on drawing D:

I didn't think of any backstory for the super mario pic so I'm fine with whatever my writer comes up with and the sub!Arthur art...well as long as it has sub!Arthur and some of the kinks I like I'm good. I'm pretty easy to please, I think...or I hope so anyway.

What kind of tablet do you have if you don't mind me asking?

You need a Cintiq, I bet you could draw with that one since it's pretty much like drawing on paper. If only they weren't so terribly expensive :/

I think you did the right thing to go for scenarios that can have so many outcomes. The Post Apocalyptic one I did is fine, but I didn't think the projection one through fully *oops* And 4 stories means I may not be able to do extra art when I wanted to. I'll try though.

It's a A5 Wacom Bamboo.

Oh i'd LOVE one but I have a heart attack at the price of normal Wacoms.

I was meaning to ask about that, is it expected that we do extra art? Because I don't know if I will find time to do it. I mean obviously it would be great but I hope it isn't a requirement.

Hmm, mine is an Intuos A5, but I's used a Bamboo, too. It did feel a bit different to me, it's hard to describe in what way, somehow like the surface of the tablet was different and that made for a different feel while drawing. Probably drawing digitally is just not everyone, idk. Ive gone over almost entirely to drawing with my tablet, I only draw with pen and pencil when I'm sketching.

Wacoms are expensive but to be fair they are pretty awesome :D

It's not a requirement. I only wanted to do it because one writer has shared her ideas and I love them a lot.

It's not the easiest surface to draw on, and I'm sure my pressure sensitivity is playing up. Im used to computers and colouring as I was once a designer. But for some reason when it comes to my personal art lately I can only do it traditionally X_x Must try get back into it again I guess as it's been a long time since I did it.

I'm trying to save for a bigger one as my friend has a A4 Intuos and it's fab ♥
