Day 05 – Your favorite companion

Numero uno is Jamie McCrimmon, a Highland piper plucked from the bloody battle of Culloden in 1746. I just adore him, he’s brave, loyal, cheeky, naïve, yet always willing to try and understand things that are beyond him and if he can't he'll just pretend he does with a 'aye' to shut the Doctor up. It makes me laugh how much he teases the Doctor especially about his TARDIS piloting skills and I love the dynamic they have of trust and respect. He’s always grabbing onto things, I don’t kid here as you often see him clinging on to his companions, most often the Doctor himself , he wouldn’t know personal space if it bit him on the bum XD

Ah if you need proof of that, proof I shall give, follow yon cut  ;)

Proof, plus Zoe, Donna and yes even Adric :P )

Day 04 – Your favorite Doctor

Ahaha bet you thought my favourite was David, John, Peter or Tom (who I do love) but it’s Patrick Troughton, this is the guy who made Doctor Who what it is today so many years later.

Colin Baker said once that if William Hartnell had regenerated into someone with less acting ability than Patrick Troughton, Doctor Who would have died then and he and all the other doctors would have been out of a job.

Oh, my giddy aunt! )

Day 02 – Your favorite classic series story

Oh dear! Now having to choose an absolute favourite out of so many brilliant episodes was too hard so I narrowed it down to erm six, you know just in case you’re new to classic Who and would like to check some out and not because I couldn't make my mind up ;P

1.The Mind Robber

Gleefully silly. How many times can you see the Doctor save the day with the power of fanfiction or purposely put Jamies face on wrong? It’s a fun spirited adventure into a world of fiction where The Doctor, Jamie, and Zoe meet Gulliver, Rapunzel, and D’Artagnan. They also run into dangerous fictional creatures like the Minotaur and Medusa. The Mind Robber is an early example of how Doctor Who is a show that can literally go anywhere–even to places that aren’t meant to exist. Oh not to mention the main bad guy wrote a book about a Captain Jack Harkaway, cutting a tad close to a certain nu Who's Captain Jack Harkness me thinks XD

Other five safely stored under here )

Then of course you have ones like Logopolis/Castrovalva, City of Death, Genesis of the Daleks,The Mind of Evil, The five Doctors, Tomb of the Cybermen but I'd be at this forever if I don't stop now XD

loobee: (Here's a Doctor...)
Well as a Whovian I've put this off too long as I know this meme is going to be hard, so many choice, so many Doctors and I'm so lazy. But to start...

Day 01 – Your favorite quote

Now this was hard as Doctor Who has so many amazing lines, but here's a few as I couldn't decide on one.

[The Doctor and Jamie are faced with an inactive Yeti.]
Jamie: Have you thought up some clever plan, Doctor?
The 2nd Doctor: Yes, Jamie, I believe I have.
Jamie: What are you going to do?
The 2nd Doctor: Bung a rock at it.

Brigadier: Believe me, Doctor, the place is impregnable!
The 4th Doctor: Never cared much for the word 'impregnable.' Sounds a bit too much like 'unsinkable.'
Sullivan: What's wrong with unsinkable?
The 4th Doctor: 'Nothing,' as the iceberg said to the Titanic!
Sullivan: What?
The 4th Doctor: Glub glub glub....

The rest and the full meme list under here <3 )
